It was clearly a quality issue with the poor quality fuzzy suede, with loose, unfinished fibers sticking out all over the bag. Im unhappy that I had to pay for return because of the quality problem.

AllSaints has a real talent for creating bags that feel modern, sophisticated and just a little edgy, while remaining beautifully made and practical. I now own two of their bags – the Jean Rey Suede Tote Bag and the Ara Black Leather Tote Bag – and I’m absolutely chuffed to bits with both. They’re genuinely worth the money, and getting the Jean Rey in the sale was an absolute steal. The Jean Rey is even more beautiful in person than it appears online. The rich tobacco brown suede is gorgeous, and the photos simply don’t capture how luxurious it looks. I was slightly unsure about the gold-tone hardware on the two front zip pockets when I first saw the online photos, but in person it blends beautifully with the suede and actually complements the bag perfectly. It’s one of those details that looks far better in real life than it does in the pictures. It’s incredibly practical too, with a secure zipped main compartment, two handy outer zip pockets and a spacious interior that easily fits everything I need. It has a relaxed yet polished silhouette that works with almost any outfit, making it one of those bags you’ll reach for every day. I absolutely love it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
