I would like to share my profound disappointment in this dress. It arrived unbelievably wrinkled and had to go straight to the dry cleaner. Among coming back from the dry cleaner and putting on to wear for the first time, I noticed the seam on the left side is ripped and now am attending my event with my dress literally taped together. This was my first and most likely last ALC purchase. I am beyond disappointed.

Skirt runs big. The gloss is overpowering. And the color is black. It’s not dark green as described.

The dress itself is beautiful. It just didn’t sit right on me. I am normally a size 4 or 6 depending on the brand. Given this is satin with minimal stretch, I went up to the 6. The fabric is a bit thin, so if you have any slight curve to you, the dress will highlight that. Wearing undergarments doesn’t really help as you can see this faint lining through the dress bc the fabric is thin. I really wanted to loved it, but it was not for me.

I’m 5’4/135 and the size 6 fit perfectly. The top buttons from the neck and the scarf drapes over you very nicely also the color of the top is as pictured. The top has a cinched waist so be mindful of that.
