I just wanted to write you a quick note to say thank you so much for all the work you have put into my BEAUTIFUL ring! I've attached one of the hundred odd photos I've taken so far. It's mesmerising, in some lights it’s a really bright blue, in others its navy and then an inky grey, and the setting is just prefect, I'm besotted with it. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into making our perfect engagement ring, we'll have to come back now for the perfect wedding band to match!

We first walked into Barry's shop back in 2004 to look at wedding rings. To say that we were wet behind the ears when it came to jewellery was an understatement neither of us knew what we really wanted we just knew it was to be unique. Barry sat down with us, chatted and got to know us and what we wanted, from this he created the perfect wedding rings that to this day 10 years later people still comment on. With that in mind and celebrating our 10 year anniversary we returned to Barry and again we were greeted with open arms and a friendly smile, Barry and Addrianna made us feel absolutely at home and again listened to what we wanted and most importantly worked within our budget to create what is just the most fantastic eternity ring a person could ever wish for. The craftsmanship is exemplary and the diamonds are absolutely stunning.....I look forward to seeing what he can come up with for our 25 year anniversary (I'm sure we'll be back before that) !! I know Barry Doyle sixteen years now. I alway knew that Barry has excellent eye for beautiful things but I didn’t really understand what he does for a living until I got engaged go Ann. Discussing our engagement we knew that we wanted our rings to be made by Barry. When we came to his workshop and shop upstairs in the South Great Georges Street Arcade he was happy to see us and showed us several rings. Ann and I are both visual artists and we loved the more minimalistic design of the silver ring with the continuous wave at its centre. The experience in Barry’s place, choosing the rings, measuring our fingers, waiting for him to make the rings and coming few weeks later to collect them was very heart warming and special. We loved the day of collecting the rings. It was a very sincere and unique experience putting our rings on and having the beautiful Barry Doyle boxes. We loved the whole experience, and we love our rings. They are so unique, strong and beautiful. They suit us perfectly and we know they were made with great talent, care, love and attention to details. Barry’s work is really very unique, truly beautiful, and he is full of heart and very spiritual. This made our engagement extra special and the experience will stay with us forever.

When we recently got engaged we were recommended to visit Barry Doyle in George’s St Arcade. Myself and Donal went in to visit him and I had a specific idea in mind. We found Barry Adrianna & Grainne really helpful & professional and they suggested a bespoke ring would be the best option for us. We went through the options and Barry said he knew exactly what I wanted and wouldn’t be disappointed!! I was a little nervous collecting it in case I didn’t but I need not of worried he was right I wasn’t disappointed. We were both really happy with the finished article and will be more than happy to visit again to hopefully fine the perfect wedding rings. There was none of the pretension that comes with a lot of Diamond Shopping and its all the more relaxing because of it. We highly recommend visiting them.

We had seen Barry on tv Nationwide, Our 40th Wedding anniversary was fast approaching so we decided to give Barry a call, and we were not disappointed . From the very first meeting with Barry we knew we were in good hands, we wanted our two rings broken down and reformed into something beautiful we would cherish for the rest of our lives, and boy we were not disappointed. From our old rings Barry transformed them into a pair of rings witch was a sight to behold , his craftsmanship was of the highest quality, we could not be any happier a pure master of his trade . We had seen some work by Barry and were very impressed with what we saw. On looking for our wedding rings we knew that the 'standard issue' rings were not for us. We had a consultation with Barry who listened to what we wanted and delivered in spectacular fashion! From the first meeting to the day we collected our rings Barry was a gentleman whose positive energy, reassuring nature and true professionalism aided us with memories for a life time. We had the pleasure of also engaging with Barry's wife who was also just as helpful and encouraging. Words cannot do justice to describe our wedding rings nor is there enough words to describe the depth of emotion that went into the process. We are truly delighted beyond words. Barry nailed it! We highly recommend him for his originality, his professionalism, his uniqueness, his quality of work but also because of the energy of the man himself.

Seventeen weeks after meeting the most wonderful man I found myself being proposed to on Durdle Door beach in Dorset. The following day I was whisked off to Dublin to celebrate. The day after that I found the most wonderful jewellers, Barry Doyle Design. I'm an art teacher by trade but despite my background I'd never thought about what my engagement ring would look like! We trawled the streets and jewellers of Dublin in search of this mystery ring but simply couldn't find it. Then, by pure chance we stumbled across Barry and Addriana's place. Walking up the wooden staircase we were transported to a world of beautifully hand crafted bespoke jewellery in the most fitting of settings. Not surprisingly the first ring to inspire me was the ring that now sits on my finger and makes me smile everyday. Dealing with Barry and Addriana was an absolute pleasure. They were kind, thoughtful and sensitive but at the same time everything was dealt with with the utmost professionalism, something that doesn't always go hand in hand. We're very much hoping that Barry will be able to make our bands for our wedding next year, fifty two weeks after meeting the most wonderful man.

While visiting Dublin last August (from Texas!), my husband and i stumbled upon Barry Doyle's shop. The designs of the jewelry in the window enticed me inside - and I was not disappointed. From display case to display case - the designs were unique and elegant. I purchased a Trinity Knot Claddaugh pendant that day - and returned the next day to order a solid gold Kells Square Knot. Corresponding with Barry and Addriana "across the pond" was easy - they were responsive to emails and my pendant arrived when expected. The pendant is beatiful - beyond my expectation. I had an idea for a set of gold pendants for my daughter and I. I didn't know if it was possible to translate my idea into reality but Barry did a wonderful job! So delighted with them, couldn't be happier! Thanks again, they will be treasured always!

I have always wanted a “Mother’s Charm” which is probably more common in the United States. I have looked for a long time to find one that was as perfect as my children are to me. While on a holiday this year we just happened to find Barry Doyle Design by pure accident. We stopped in to look and began talking. Told Barry what we had in mind and with a few emails he designed a BEAUTIFUL pendant. I am so very pleased with my mother’s pendant. The quality of it is amazing and it is exactly what I have been looking for. Job well done!

I couldn’t recommend Barry and Adrianna enough! My wife and I got married last year, Áine had an idea about an Art Deco engagement ring with an ethically sourced emerald cut emerald. After visiting several jewellers and a lot of searching online it was looking like it would not be possible! It was just by chance that we dropped into Barry, straight away he was helping us create the design we wanted. Adrianna kept in touch with us through the whole process with a great knowledge of the gems and metals always with our budget in mind, always listening to us and never pushing their agendas. The end result is that we now have three beautifully handcrafted rings (engagement and wedding rings), exactly what we wanted, within our budget and designed totally to our personal taste. Barry and his wife are an absolute pleasure to deal with. They designed our wedding rings and both of us love them. My engagement ring was bought in Paris and is quite an unusual design. However both rings look as if they were designed together. They also understood that we had a budget and worked within that budget. I can wholeheartedly recommend them!

We were looking for bands/rings to celebrate our civil partnership after 20 years together as a couple. We found that shop-bought rings appeared all the same and soul-less We found Barry’s online site and when we met him we found him to be very professional, friendly, not in the least pushy and he listened to what we were looking for. He had very good ideas and the story behind the rings gave them meaning and soul. The actual rings themselves were and are everything we had hoped for and show the artistry and craft of their maker. Nicola and myself went to Barry Doyle in Dublin on a recommendation from friends who recently got married. We went there for a look and a chat. We were looking for an engagement ring after we got engaged in Santorini with a token ring, so now were after the real deal, and wanted to get it right. Addrianna and Barry were super nice, made everything very relaxing, with none of the pretentious BS you get with the high street. We were after a custom design, as Nicola knew in her head exactly what she wanted, it was something specific. Barry designed it EXACTLY as she wanted it, and we were both thrilled with the result. We'd highly recommended going to talk to Addrianna and Barry, the whole experience was top notch, very professional, very pleasing and most importantly relaxing with no pressure. Last year my partner proposed to me in Glendaloch and had planned a suprise meeting with Barry the following day knowing how much I adored his silver work . Barry is an amazing artist and creator and gave me all the confidence in the world to ask for something unusual. He understood me so well that he started to carve out some shapes right there in his workshop till we came to a real understanding of how much i wanted something that was so far from your 'normal' engagement ring. Barry endearingly referred to me as Wierd from that moment on but he managed to sculpt me the ring of my dreams, making it appear like it had been forged a million years ago, sculpted and formed by the wind and the rain, like the limestone plateaus of the Burren National Park. He also make an enormous effort to have the ring completed by the time we returned from our holiday on the West Coast. We didnt expect it but the service and production from beginning to end was incredible, impeccable, uber creative and we are now going to have both of our wedding rings made by Barry as nothing else would ever be able to compare... Having already bought a silver Sláinte Ogham bracelet, I asked Barry and Addrianna if they would make me a similar bracelet, this time using my own inscription in the Runic script - something a bit 'different'! I couldn't have been happier with how the bracelet turned out - the intricate Runic inscription is beautifully engraved and the bracelet was custom made to fit me and it is absolutely *perfect* in every way. A BIG 'thank you' to you both for creating another gorgeous piece of jewellery that I am really thrilled with! :-) I LOVE it!!
