So I only drink decaf. Yes I know, why/not real coffee l/etc. And I have Sage grinder which only just goes fine enough for espresso. But not fine enough for decaf espresso. This basket totally changes that. I was pulling shots at 2 bar for 30 seconds at the finest setting on the grinder. First shot with this basket at the same grind setting pulled for 1m 20s at 9 bar! Obviously I need to go courser, but this will now be totally achievable without having to buy a new grinder. But. . . The filter was VERY tight to get into my shades naked portafilter. If I removed the spring it was way too loose. I managed to get it in with the spring, but I fear it may never come out. Also the top has no return around the edge, just a flat edge so it doesn't neatly wrap over the edge of the portafilter. Also my magnetic funnel doesn't "stick" very strongly at all and because of the different top outside lip is a loose sloppy fit. These issues don't negatively affect how the shot pulls at all, but they're a little frustrating.
