Great coffee beans! I tried the introductory tasting set, and the nutty and fruity flavour profiles were a delight. I will definitely try other beans from them in the future.

I love everything about 49th Parallel, just wish the company used a different shipment service, Canada Post takes way too long to get your product out to Ontario. When they were on strike and the company used FedEx, my coffee was here in two days. Canada Post takes up to 10 days, by that time I’ve already gone through caffeine withdrawals (and no, I do not wish for a subscription service because I like to try different beans with each order). Please, offer different shipping providers. I’d choose FedEx each time.

I’m leaving 5 stars, because I’m a big fan of this coffee roaster. And really my disappointment is really not THAT big of a deal. But 49th’s original coffee mug, is hands down the best mug I’ve ever owned. I do a lot of traveling, and I like to buy mugs from my favorite roasters in different cities all over the world. After I bought this mug almost 10 years ago, I would often find myself skipping every other mug in cabinet or doing dishes early just so I could drink out of my 49th mug. (For me) it’s the perfect weight, and the handle fits in my hand so perfect! Not to mention, it’s a stunner to look at. I decided that I’d save myself the hassle and just buy a few more of my favorite mugs. But unfortunately, when my order arrived the mug pictured is not the mug I received. Different design (which really doesn’t bother me, although I do prefer the other design - it’s a little less “brand-forward”), and it’s a different mug all together. Lighter in weight and a different handle shape. So… now I’m back to skipping all my other mugs - including the new ones I just bought - for my single, original 49th mug. If you guys happen to have any of the original mug (like the one pictured), I would love to buy that one! It’s the holy grail mug for me!
