I bought the spark, and later on bought the riff. Both are great products, but unfortunately the software is not compatible. So if you can create a paddle board to get the tone you want in one, you can't directly import into the other. When the AI powered bias X came out, I purchased that as well. I can use it with the riff interface. But again, signal processing on that platform is not cross compatible with the other two platforms.

Excellent customer service for an excellent product. Critical in a time when products like this are being sold by others to make a fast buck off of musician's dreams of expression.

The number of high-quality effects and amps is really amazing and the tones are very good and keep me playing. There are three different envelope followers, I think there’s a ring modulator, many different distinctly different types of delays like digital and tape delay that mimics an echoplex and the sounds are really good quality. All for less than most single stomp box pedals. You can make almost any effects chain that any other guitarist has made. The software is great. I got into positive grid over the summer and the software really makes it. The graphics are inspiring, the tones are great and it is very quick and easy to just drop effects in the signal path. One of the biggest achievements is the AI where you can ask it for a certain type of tone. I asked for an Eric Johnson lead tone and it very rapidly picked a good selection of cabinet amplifier tube driver pedal, and it sounded as close as my hands can make it. it also nailed Bootsy Collins bass tone. What’s so great about the AI is it’s not AI trying to make a sound out of a square wave it’s AI choosing settings for you and effects that you can then go on and tweak. It makes building effects really quick and it gives you inspiration by coming up with a combination besides one that you might gravitate to. Lots of fun

In the last days I’ve been playing a lot with the BIAS X suite, it’s so versatile, I’ve compared it with other brands and they’re absolutely competitive and complimentary with each other

Easy to use and affordable

I found it very quick & easy to download Bias X. It was available immediately to download from my account after purchase & installed with no problems & was easy to activate & has worked with no problem with my interface into FRFR as it’s own standalone program.

Bias X is a solid software to work in the computer but it lack integration with the Positive Grid Hardware ecosystem. I did not found a way to get Biax X presets to work with Spark ap, which it’s a shame.

Bias X is the bomb shizznizzle, it renders known tones so ridiculously accurate, you'd swear the originator of the tones showed up at your house with all of the gear needed and set it up for you personally!!!

I use the Spark Link for practice and on-stage without issue. A great tool for any level of musician
