I had this beloved knife of my grandmother's. It was long, flexible and always sharp. When the metal starting cracking and splitting, I reached out to Didriks to find a replacement. Jonathan Henke wrote back that he could fix it. I didn't really see how this was possible, but I dropped it off and two days later, it was repaired and gorgeous. I just used it to prepare Thanksgiving dinner and it was fantasic. Moreover, I was only charged for sharpening. Seems like it was a labor of love for a good knife. I am very grateful. Very happy customer.
