Card performs very well, excellent value considering price increases of many AIB cards.

Great card, but hard to get. I've overclocked it pretty decently even if this is OC'd already. I replaced from a 2070 TI and this card is a decent upgrade with less heat too as a positive from that card. The dual fans are a bit nice and the temps are definitely cooler on this card. Good luck if you can get one!

Beast of a card. Runs through games. I had a 1070 card that was also awesome. On a 4770k / 32 gb ram which was more than enough honestly for games. I play mostly Dota 2 And battlefield. In hind sight my 1070 card is plenty good enough. I just built a 10850k /64 gb of ram Because I had too much time on my hands and only wanted a beast mode card, This is it. I got an ez brand rgb brace for the card, but this card is lighter than my 1070 so it’s more for looks.

Awesome performance, didn't expect less. I love the design the came up with. A must have for gamers for sure, if you are lucky to get one that is.

It's big, and looks and feels incredibly premium. Undervolts like a boss. I replaced the thermal pads as they would reach 98 C. Dropped temps to staying below 80 C. Haven't seen GPU above 65 C. Fan isn't that quiet, but not that loud. Usually at 800 to 1100 RPM. Afterburner doesn't seem to currently change the rpm after the firmware update. Performance improvement with higher resolutions. Overkill at 2K, and great performance at 3440x1440. A big improvement over a 2080 on water. Bestbuy has been my only reliable source for electronics during these trying times I truly appreciate their friendly and safe staff.

Like anyone who has this card, it took months of watching Best Buy's site, but I finally snagged one. Inconvenient wait aside, once you receive your 3070 your life will be changed forever. My PC is used daily for autocad and nightly for gaming. This card speeds up both of those tremendously. I'm happy to report with an I5-9600K and 32GB of ram this card pushes 120-200FPS in pretty much any game I play at 1440p. The only exception is MSFS2020 which brings even the mightest PC to its knees. As for other performance, this card stays cool and the fans on it are very quiet. I really like that NVIDIA included fan stop on their founders card, and most times when using autocad the fans aren't even spinning. Previously I used to purchase MSI Gaming X cards to get this feature, but those come with a ton of annoying RGB. In fact monitoring with GPUz reveals that even playing Halo 4 at the highest settings the fans are 0 RPM with no need to run at all! Under a more demanding game like BL3 the fans do kick up in speed but they keep this card cooled well under it's thermal limit without making a ton of noise. If you are looking for next gen performance, quiet fans, and no RGB this is the ultimate card for you

This is my main gpu been using this for 6 months already and its great never had any issues, mainly gaming at 1440p and it can handle anything, one of the cheaper 3080 series cards apart from the FE but its still an amazing card.

Honestly, I can't recommend this card, even if it was at the MSRP cost of a Founders Edition (which it is not). MSI didn't use quality components in the power stage and cooling for this card compared to other manufacturers and it's evident when you look at the card Bios. It's one of the only (if not only) cards that won't allow you to adjust the board power limit past the stock 200W. Even the FE allows for up to 220W (10% power increase) for overclocking headroom. On top of that, the copper heat pipes aren't formed to be a solid contact surface on the die so thermal results will vary from card to card. It's just impossible to justify this card over every other (cheaper) card. The only saving grace is that this card will still outperform a Stock 2080 Super in most titles so if y this is the only card you can get your hands on, it's not the end of the world. TL;DR - Don't buy this card unless you plan to run this card stock.

Good card for 1080p, 144Hz at ultra detail everything. Haven't tested it yet at 1440p or 4k. I think those 8gigs of vrams are okay for now but won't be enough for future games. I am using this in a small ITX case and despite the fact that pulls 215W it stays under 72C.

Very good graphics card, It works super well with my Ryzen 7 3700x, I'm putting this at 5 stars becsause I have no complaints at all really (except theres no RGB) but thats not the point. I was lucky enough to get one when it went in stock a month ago, and it runs pretty well on my Sceptre 165hz monitor. I bet it would be even better on a 240/280 hz monitor, but I'm kinda poor right now so I cant get that yet. Overall, really good graphics card, runs things really smooth, and I'm happy with what I got

I get a 4 beep code on reboot on motherboard but still boots and card runs fine . Card handles everything and allows undervolting and overclocking though the card runs under load at 77-83C depending on case you can keep it in the upper 70s by undervolting and getting the same performance got this card at msrp luckily. don't buy from scalpers wait for the next best buy drop

Clean, sturdy and everything I could have hoped for. It was as easy as popping it in and letting GeForce experience do the rest. With all the craze BestBuy had been honest and prompt with the emails as I had chosen in store pickup. They delayed it, and informed me. It was scheduled for Thursday and I was let it go understanding how long some shipments have been these grueling months. It was Wednesday when I got the email a day in advance from what they were assuming! There caution was honest and once it was available I drove that 42 minutes away to get there and the staff was kind and the transaction was swift. I expected a longer wait but BestBuy had delivered with aplomb. I can't express how happy I am. Thank you BB and the staff that made all of this run so smoothly. The card itself was worth the wait. I upgraded from a 1060 ti and everything is so vibrant and new. A definite must for anyone's PC build.

As with most 3080s the VRAM gets way too hot. I installed 2mm thermal pads on the opposite side of the VRAM that touches the backplate. I also installed copper heat sinks on the back plate over the VRAM. This brought the VRAM temp down 10c during a benchmark. Other than that, it's a solid card. GPU temps remain normal even when overclocked. This card has screws holding the back plate on so you can remove it without disassembling the entire card!
