Beer Drop is a neat concept - sourcing beer from locations/breweries you as the consumer may or may not have access to. Be sure to check what your beer options are - most likely some of them you could buy at just about any store locally (with the exception that you could get a 6 pack of the same thing for the same price as your 2 cans)! However, I will say it does offer variety that you can't get except through them - just do your due-diligence prior to purchase since your paying about 3 times the cost of 2 cans of beer! Their website at times blows - I was a member for over 2 years and can remember at least 6-8 times that the website had issues (for those who aren't good with math that's 25-30% of the time) and either submitted an order a week early, day early, hours early, or without even being able to make changes. Their categories selector (hoppy, dark, light) does Not work well either - so make sure you review prior to purchase. The shipping is also terrible you never know when your package is coming! So for those of us that work (Not at home) its real hard to try and catch the delivery person for your signature. Also orders would take 3-4 weeks to arrive - so usually I would receive my package a day or two before my next order was scheduled to ship. Now, they did finally switch back to UPS (which they were originally) a few months before while looking over order 28 hrs before order to process and it just went through and processed - and I was told they couldn't stop even though t wasn't even supposed to ship for 2 more days - I decided enough is enough. They use to offer a rewards program that - you spend; you get points - well one day decided lets give our customers 2 weeks to spend it or its gone! They like to be tricky so just be careful. Like I said its a neat concept

I bought a gift card for 3 months and it came with a bonus month. I gave this as a gift to my brother for his 40th birthday. The positive is he loved the beer and was able to get beers that are not local. My problem is I spent over $200 on this and my brother ended up having to pay for shipping, I think around $19. Therefor instead of getting a shipment monthly, they opted to get it all at once and only pay the delivery fee once. This is a gift that was supposed to cost them NOTHING! When you go to the gift card section in two different places it was the shipping is included with all gift cards, this is simply not true! LIES!!! While he was happy with the product, we aren't happy with the service. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere next time, due to their FASLE ADVERTISING!!!

Got my first shipment today. My specified choices are light beers, dark beers and malty beers. Of the five beers only two were close the these categories. The others were two fruity ales and a fruity weissen beer. When I reviewed the selections that were coming I knew I would be disappointed, so I attempted to make changes. The alternatives weren’t any better than what was coming and every one of them cost an additional $5 or more. This subscription was a gift from my daughter. After the prepaid funds are exhausted I will be canceling.

Got a gift certificate for Father’s Day but I can’t use it without leaving my credit card and signing up for more ! I’ve written to the company 3 times and no response! Should be against the law !! Meanwhile they are sitting on my daughters money

I bought two subscriptions for gifts. I was excited to customize types of beer for them. I indicated two beer types that were best. The first box in both subscriptions included sour beers. I know the people receiving the beer do not like this style and it wasn’t a style I had chosen. No problem I figured I would swap them out. I went through the process 4-5 times and each time when the website was refreshed the sour beer was back on the upcoming order. I sent a request for help to their email and never got a response. Today I tried the same process over to swap beer and get help. Nothing worked so I canceled the subscription before we ever even got it.

I cancelled my membership after one shipment. I only got half of my beer and never got replacements or money back. Contacted you twice!

If you want to pay a fraction of the cost go to a liquor store. I was gifted a free trial from a friend. Of course you need to put in CC information where they charge you $70 for beer a couple months later after you forget. Tried to cancel my order that automatically filled itself before shipment and of course they won't refund my money. Cash grab at its finest.

Got this as gift 3 months of the drop. 1st box took forever to ship and be delivered. Services was no help other than to say be patient. This is the 2nd month and every beer I chose I received an email as it was being processed theyre unavailable. Wouldnt recommend this service 0/2 so far and its expensive

I have been enjoying the beer and the monthly plan for over a year now. However, I logged an overcharge via chat over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been addressed after arguing with someone via chat/email due to there being no number to reach anyone directly to discuss over the phone. Several days ago I was told that this would be taken to management but I have not received a refund.

Customer service is just horrendous. They are not helpful in regards to anything. Will NOT recommend!!!

I have the lowest membership level and it’s still fairly pricy considering you can’t swap out beers. After adding on the shipping and taxes to the cost of the subscription, it is really no bargain. My husband got a coffee beer in this past shipment that he absolutely hated so he dumped out the second can. He loved several of the beers from the first shipment. I tried contacting Beerdrop.com to see if I could reorder two of the beers. You have to message them (no phone customer service) and then wait 24 hours for a reply. The customer service I received was severely lacking and after exchanging numerous emails, I never received any specific instructions on precisely HOW I could go about reordering beers. I bought a subscription because I was desperate to come up with a unique Christmas present for my beer loving husband. I don’t honestly think it was worth it given there is no flexibility in modifying selections on the lowest membership level.

First off, I would like to say that I was originally excited, to find a subscription like this, for a picky guy, who enjoys beer. However, this was MY experience: placed order as a gift and from start to finish, the process was a headache. The gift card asks for a credit card # apparently and my husband didn't want to give that and shouldn't have to with a "gift" card. He then told me, that he tried to call in an order and whomever he spoke to, wouldn't help him without his number. (He was more than a bit upset.) A while later, I used the gift card myself and with trouble navigating the website, I just decided to use up all 3 months at once.....what a mess! Then when we finally did receive the product (last night in fact), my husband eagerly opened the box, only to get sprayed by the 2 cans that were leaking and had leaked all over the rest of the cans. The packaging was terrible for roughly 30 cans to be shipped. Nowhere on the box did it state: Fragile or Contains Liquids. What a mess! Never again at $175 for 30 cans of beer. We'll stay local.

Easy drinking refreshing lager

Great flavor and good boozy taste for the holidays. Lite carbonation made it mor refreshing. I enjoyed this brew with friends over the holidays and everyone really liked it. Hopefully they with join the club and get it for themselves

This beer was light. While I saw some people said it was straw-like, I found it to be a refreshing beer to have at the end of the day.
