I bought this lovely sleeveless romper for a recent photoshoot. It is really nice wool that washed well (hand wash only) and was nice and fluffy. The baby was 6 and a half lbs and the romper was too big around the shoulders but I was able to tuck the extra shoulder area behind her so it looked like it fitted. I would think that this would be a good fit for a larger newborn - maybe about 8lbs+
