Nice wide base. Decently heavy. I probably wouldn't put a boom arm on it or anything but for holding a large condenser mic and using for vocals it's pretty perfect.

The service was top notch, I received answers from specialists whenever I had queries before making a final decision. Bought a refurbished preamp. I received a broken preamp. Both transformers are hanging off the board, exposing wire and knocking around in the unit. The transformer covers had been hot glued to the circuit board. Operation is noisy and one of the tone buttons does not work. Solotech refused to reimburse or replace.
