Beautiful Amore Skincare, the Eczema Kryptonite
I'm so in love with these products and they have truly made a difference with my easily irritated and inflamed skin. Like most people who have seen this store in the Albee Square / City Point mall, I was originally drawn in by the samples outside and big poster claims of helping with eczema. I was a bit skeptical but the smells were too good to just keep walking. I stopped, got a teeny scoop of the Vegan Body Butter in Mango Butter, and continued on my way to Target. The whole time I was shopping in Target, I kept getting whiffs of the faint but tropical scent and I would double check that it really was my lotion that was smelling this good (I hate fruity scents lol). By the time that I left Target, I knew i was going back to stock up on whatever trials they had. Maybe 8 months later and I'm still regularly restocking my butters and oils from here exclusively. Sometimes I even pop in to say hey to the owner if she's there. She is absolutely delightful and always keeps me updated when I want a scent that's out of stock. Also, I love that the owner has been able to create scents for everyone's preference that last for hours, especially if you pair one product with another (like an oil and a soap). I typically prefer clean scents like a Baby Powder, but I have smelled every single scent that they have in store and nothing makes me turn up my nose. Even if it's not my preference of scent profile, I usually think to myself, "oohh somebody's going to love that". Overall, Beautiful Amore Skincare has become a staple in my visits to City Point mall and I'm not turning back. I use it every day because it's the only skincare I've had that actually soothes my eczema inflammations, smooths my skin overall, and makes me feel like I smell like a million bucks.
