I've been following Wild One for a while and swooning over their products. My pup's current harness (Ruffwear) has taken quite a beating over the last few years and Wild One was having a sale, so I took the plunge and purchased the walk kit in pink. The materials of everything in the kit are very nice. Soft to the touch and feel well constructed. Even the poop bags are soft! I think I bought too long of a leash for our 16lb pup, so to be honest, it just sits in the closet. We got the standard and I think we should have went with the small. As far as the harness goes, compared to our Ruffwear, it fits quite awkwardly. We ordered the the small initially after measuring our pup and comparing it with the size guide, but when we got it, it was too tight around her neck and came up really high on her throat. They made the exchange quick and easy and we got a medium sent to us. The neck area fits much better now, but the chest is a little loose. It also still sits a bit high on her throat, I feel. We do use it, but I am a bit disappointed in the fit. I'm also not a big fan of the bulky, cheap feeling clasps. I feel like if Ruffwear and Wild One could do a collab, they would make the perfect harness. To clarify, I do like the entire walk kit, just be sure to measure your pup and size up if they are on the lower end of the guidelines.

Although I liked the looks of the harness, it is not user friendly as I expected. Either I am not putting it on right or the design of this harness is bad. The harness can slip right off if my sweet little furbaby and it pulls on her neck.

Great Products

This is the second one I’ve bought for my two. I love how easy it is to slip on/off with the buckles, however, I watched as it slid off my smallest one when I tried the back leash clip with her. Luckily, she only ran and stopped at her Gran’s door as I hadn’t walked her beyond, so make sure it’s tight. These are tough harnesses, but it was my mistake that could have been tragic. Anyway, they both love them and the harnesses seem to be well padded and sewn with lots of room to expand. I expect these to be their life long harnesses!

If you are looking to buy any of the wild one products (specifically the harness/lead/treat bag set (priced at $130 +) because of the unique colours and sturdy promise of good quality stuff, a cautionary tale ’tis to follow… I as most saw the beautiful colours and design, thinking ‘why not splurge a little?! They have such great reviews’. So went for it. We got the harness/lead/treat bag in the lovely Cocoa colour. A little over a month has gone by and now the color (paint) has come off of ALL the clips and o-rings, leaving the bare metal visible beneath (making it look super tatty and unkempt). When I wrote to wild ones, the response (and this is seriously the response I got) was “just wash it with same warm water and soap”. That this is ‘normal’ wear and tear. To have such a nonchalant ability at gaslighting clients that this condition is to be expected after a months use, is stunning (and pretty impressive in a messed up way). + for added info, my dog is 7.5pounds (she’s a killer :) and we’ve had the lead for a month, yet the paint is coming off all three: lead, harness, treat bag and looks really bad. I guess nothing a little warm water and soap can’t fix though! Yep, so in conclusion, and thank you for coming to my ted talk, if you’re considering wild one because of the colours and very heavily marketed ‘amazing’ quality of their leads/harness etc, I would say def save yourself the + $130 and go for a harness that won’t be ‘worn and torn’ after a months use. Love this pretty bright pink set! I have Chi/Rat Terrier and this is her personality 100%! Lots of love, compliments and head scratches at our favorite happy hour spots! I look forward to traveling on vacation with this set!

My 12lb Frenchie can’t fit her head in both small and medium adjustable harness. It makes no sense how the back has clips but the front doesn’t. Sizing is inaccurate, save your money go elsewhere.

We absolutely love the orchid harness for our min pin chihuahua pup! Our dog is 8lbs but with a big rib cage and long legs. Harnesses have been so tricky to fit. The XS orchid harness with multiple areas to shorten/expand has been perfect for her! Definitely recommend! Thank you!

We love your colors, they are reasonably priced and love all the colors.

Our XS red harness clasp broke and customer service replied back the next day. A replacement item was sent in 4 days due to the 12 month warranty. It fits our 6.5lb maltese yorkie.

We love wild one collars, leashes, and harnesses. They are easy to clean and our pup looks so cute in all the colors!

I love the leash, the reason for the lower rating is due to me trying on many occasions to reach anyone by Email and my emails never were answered, I was sent a damaged harness which is sitting waiting to be returned since I went to Barkncreek and bought the same exact harness not damaged. No one ever to this day got back to me. Customer service “F”.

I got the harness, leash and collar for my Havanese puppy. All fit him well with room to grow, and he looks so stylish on the NYC streets :) My only complaint: You have to put the harness on over his head, which can be challenging when he is in a squirmy mood.

I’ve bought a few things from Wild One and nothing has disappointed me. 1. Poop bags - I know they’re just bags to be thrown into the garbage but it is the best quality bag I’ve used. So much so that I find myself not wanting to over use them. 2. Harness - I bought the lavender color in size Small for my 9 pound Maltese. I ordered both XS and S and found the XS to be a tad too tight. The Small I can at least adjust a little. It’s so nice and beautiful. 3. The travel carrier - flew with my 9lbs Maltese for the first time and it was perfect! My dog is on the longer side for her breed but it worked out well. I love the thoughtful design of it. It’s the best bank for buck!

After only two weeks and minimal wear ( we remove when our puppy is in her crate or in the house) this collar is completely discolored . I was so excited to purchase the collar, leash set and after just a few weeks I need to replace. So confused why it would discolor where it touches her and where The buckle is.

where the harness is clipped to the lead, after only a few weeks, has totally removed the paint/color of the hook and is black. Really unhappy with this, considering the cost and suppose quality of the harness/lead.
