I purchased two Gear Doctors' ApolloAir Ultralight sleeping pads about 18 months ago. We have used them for both fore and back country camping and loved them. Light weight and works very well for us side sleepers. Unfortunately one of the pads developed a micro leak which even while submersing the pad in water, I could not find the source. I contacted the people at Gear Doctors to see if there was another way to pinpoint the leak. They let me know that there is a lifetime warranty and with confirmation of purchase, sent out a new one right away. Totally unexpected but greatly appreciated. Excellent customer service!

Can't say enough amazing things about Gear Doctors! Both me and my partner have the same pillow which we have taken on many many camping trips (front and backcountry), and it's incredibly light and packs up so small it fits into my camp mug. It's quiet, the colored side is comfy, and the grip on the other side prevents us from slipping off the mat AND the price is so so reasonable compared to the >$70 CDN ones we find at many of our outdoors stores. My first pillow unfortunately had a leak that I could not find and fix, and I got a response from the owner Mike within HOURS. Mike then continued to respond to any further concerns and replies instantly - probably one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Without a doubt I will continue to buy Gear Doctors products knowing their warranty holds true, and they are so responsive if anything goes wrong!

I love the compact design of the APOLLOAIR pad. It fits perfectly in my backpack and provides great support for a restful night's sleep. A great purchase!

I originally ordered this sleeping pad off of Amazon for a backpacking trip a little over a year ago. I had taken this pad on a cold spring backpacking trip and had noticed that it continuously deflated overnight. I originally thought that maybe it was because I was inflating it when it was warmer during the day and temperatures dropped overnight causing the air to shrink inside. Despite the fact that the pad would deflate, it still kept me warm from the cold ground in 30°F weather! A little over a year later I’m going on my second backpacking trip and I didn’t want to have to spend money on a new sleeping pad especially because I had only gotten one use out of this one! I had finally decided to put it in the bathtub and check for leaks. I had found a giant one on the plastic valve of the sleeping pad and thought well no wonder my pad kept deflating. I went back to Amazon and realized that gear doctors offered a lifetime warranty on defective products even if you ordered from Amazon! I went to the Gear Doctors website and put in a warranty request and within a few hours I received a response from Mike where he asked about my sleeping pad. Once I had emailed back, almost within 24hrs they had another one sent to me. I was very grateful for the prompt customer service and this sleeping pad was sent just in time for my next backpacking trip! I have yet to try this newly sent sleeping pad, but I can say before my old one would deflate during the night, it was very comfortable to sleep on and seems like a very durable material compared to one of those plastic blow up sleeping pads you can buy elsewhere. This pad also kept me very warm from the very very cold ground in below freezing weather. This sleeping pad is also priced amazingly for being of such great quality! As a Backcountry content creator and enthusiast I spend a lot of time sleeping outside. I ordered the ultra light this year and had a small problem with the pad. After contacting Mike, with little issue he honoured the warranty in a way no other outdoor company has ever done and my new pad arrived in a couple days. The pad is excellent - keeps you warm, a good night of comfortable sleep, no noise when moving, soft non plastic cover - I have had many pads - this is by far the best

We purchased two of these pads for our grandsons, who are twelve. they'd gone camping previously with no padding, and it had been an uncomfortable experience, damp and cold. This pad was such an improvement for them. They were easily able to get it set up and repacked again in the morning on their own. They report that they did need to add a little more air by mouth to better inflate, (easy for them to do), but that gave them a much improved sleep.

This is my third sleeping pad from Gear Dcotors, (purchased two the first time around and this third was sent to me by them) and I will continue to purchase them. I had a small issue with the first one, reached out and Mike immediately replaced my old one- amazing customer service. Prior to that Mike answered all my questions and explained in detail everything I ever wanted to know about the sleeping pad. This pad is super light- it has come on many backpacking and camping trips, it is warm, easy to inflate and deflate and pack back up. Highly recommend it!

Have only used a couple Times since purchase. Comfortable and warm. Just have to add a small puff or 2 each day to maintain the firmness I like.

I bought this for my son who will use it for all season scout camps. It was easy to inflate, deflate and pack up. We left it overnight and it didn't seem to loose any air. It's way more comfortable than the other self inflatable sleep pads we have. The only thing is that it's narrow. I can't actually lie down on it with my arms to the side. My son (14) just about fits on it. He's using it to lounge on and read before camp this weekend so it's a good sign that it's comfy.

I had an issue with my pad and Mike contacted me within 12 hours and honored the warranty. With customer service like that, I will purchase from them in the future.

Unfortunately, mine only lasted one night. The valve is now leaking air and the cap as per instructions won't come off to let me replace the o-ring. I have contacted the company and see what they say or what to do to correct the problem.

I bought two pillows. Immediately inflated both pillows, as soon as I received them, to check for air leaks. One had no air leaks, and the other after eight hours lost approximately 10-15% of the air. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a product that has a significant flaw right out of the package. It even makes no economic sense to return the pillow that leaks air due to shipping costs.

Bought this Apollo mattress for a light weight back pack sheep hunt, worked amazing! Super light and compact yet very durable easy to inflate and very comfortable also good R value rating too for cold nights. Funny story but I did even test it out in the lake and went for a float on a hot sunny day! Highly recommend you won’t be diss appointed

I love this pillow! i have struggled for years to find a good pillow that is light enough to backpack with but still comfortable. This is it!

I picked up the Apollo air mattress for the kids to hike on the Juan de Fuca trail on Vancouver Island. The mattress worked great, was light for the kids and we are happy with the product. We used it in the late Aug so we experienced around 5-8 degrees Celsius at night with no issues.

I was skeptical at first, but this lightweight products does not compromise on sleep quality. Very comfortable and super light and easy. I will buy another one.

I primarily picked this up for the increased r value to use in shoulder seasons while backpacking. As a side sleeper this has replaced my previous go-to pad throughout summer as well. Durable and backed by the warranty also has the repair kit for some piece of mind in the field. Usual setup in a small 1p trekking pole tent with lots of room. I am a side sleeper around 220lb and have tons of cushion and never feel like I'm touching the ground.
