have a set paired with my audio technical lp120. pretty versatile speakers that can put out quite a bit of volume. easy to set up as well, and i like also being able to hook my phone up for parties. i also just like not giving my money to amazon

I had a problem with a pair of speakers that I purchased several years ago. Way out of warranty. Audioengine support technicians worked with me to access and diagnose the issue. They got back to me quickly after my initial question and then again after I sent them a second email informing them of my findings upon following their diagnosis steps. They then offered me a replacement part, at a fair price, that they were confident would resolve the issue. (Remember, I was way out of warranty). Long story short. They were right on! The disassembly and replacement took me, a 73 year old man, about an hour to complete. Although I wish the instructions had been a little bit more detailed, they were detailed enough for me to figure them out. You have to take into consideration that when preparing instructions like this, the folks that do that handle these speakers all the time. As such, it's quite easy to leave something out that they do by "second nature. " Fortunately for me, I worked many years ago as a computer technician, so I had the confidence to take on this project with the instructions that were given. They had given me a choice when they responded to my diagnosis email. "If you'd like, we can sell you a replacement i/o board for $50 and you can replace the board yourself. " They included the instructions with the email so that I could look them over and make my decision. If I had decided to send it in, it would have cost me close to $200 or more to have the speakers fixed. My point is that they were very thorough, quick to respond, and offered me a fair solution. I would very much recommend Audioengine to anyone looking for a great set of speakers at a fair price, with a great technical staff to back up the product should you need their assistance.
