I hired Martin for my husbands 80th Birthday bash and he was a lovely guy who was great entertaining us with his wow tricks. We had a couple of children and he showed them tricks and got them involved which they thought was fantastic as we all did, such fun. When we got home everyone was still talking about the tricks, the coin trick was a definite hit. Martin was just such a lovely person and we cannot praise him highly enough for his professionalism throughout the day with us keeping everyone entertained, we would not hesitate to recommend him. I hired Martin for my 65th birthday party and he was brilliant. There was a lot going on because we had a live band. Martin fitted around everything else which must have been difficult. He was punctual, unobtrusive and very professional. My little granddaughter was mesmerised when he taught her a card trick and let her take the credit when showing it to others. One of my guests 3 days later said, “I’m still wondering how on earth he did that trick with the kiwi fruit and the £10 note.” I would recommend Martin unreservedly for any occasion.

I booked Martin to wander around the Golf Clubhouse during the evening of my Captain’s Day. He arrived a good hour before I had booked him and after we had met, he immediately began to wander around the tables of members on the patio who were braving the fairly strong breeze. As I was busily organising the evening’s procedures, I heard gasps, wows, shouts of “Unbelievable”, “How the devil did you do that?” and so on. Later on in the lounge, as members returned for the Prize giving event, he sauntered from table to table showing his illusions, tricks and magic which were very varied, amazing and jaw dropping. He brings with his tricks a really pleasant and relaxed manner and people instantly like him. To sum the evening up, almost all of the members present that evening came to me later on, thanked me for a super evening and expressed their delight that I had invited Martin. I can't express just how fantastic Martin was. All of our guests were wowed and amazed and even the children got throughly involved in the magic! Martin was the absolute professional even when the kids almost ruined the magic! I knew when I booked Martin that he was good, I had seen some videos but I wasn't prepared for how genuinely nice he is and how much he made our day better for being there! We booked Martin for our wedding at the Pavilion hotel 4th December 2016. Right from the first piece of magic Martin performed my guests were mesmorised... I BOOKED MARTIN FOR MY WEDDING WITH LINDA AT OUR RECEPTION THE HILTON IN YORK CITY, on 30 august 2016, we were married at york register office, i had booked martin as my gift to myself and my guests as i was fascinated by magic,i wanted something different for our guests, he was at the reception in time for our guests arrival as we were having photos at the york museum gardens, on our arrival martin was busy working, our guests were amazed and blown away at what they were seeing in front of them, i was excited too,martin visited each of our guests in groups and individually, he was polite, entertaining, smartly dressed, quiet, casual, informative,he stayed a little longer for his finale which left me and linda gasping, how did he do that,??? he was full of tricks and surprises, my wife linda wasnt sure that we should book a magician,but he blew us all away and linda was so glad we had booked something different, i can honestly say martin made our guests welcome and a part of his act, i would reccomend martin anytime, i was left as i say bemused, which is what i wanted to achieve, i will hopefully re book martin again please hire martin he will entertain your guests and relax, mingle, and make you , and your guests day, martin was a part of our day and i am so glad that i pursued my dream, all in all a magical dream performance MANY MANY THANKS MARTIN you were wonderful, paul and linda foster-link

We recently had a christening with over 75 people, 30 of whom were children and asked Martin to entertain the children as part of the reception. He arrived perfectly on time and stayed nearly all afternoon during which he spent most of his time with the children glued to his every move. He later came and entertained the adults! Everybody commented how amazing he was and that wasn't just the children! Truly amazing and very impressive, would hire him again in an instant for any event be it with children or/and adults. Strongly recommend, Martin won't let you down!

We initially hired Martin to video our wedding and only found out when we met him that he also did magic. This wasn't something I had intended to have at the wedding but I am so glad I did. Our guests loved being entertained during the drinks reception when we were having the 'formal' photos done and again after the wedding breakfast and the tricks he performed really were jaw dropping!! Martin also did our wedding video and did such a wonderful job. We were totally unaware of his presence all day and he captured the day beautifully. The DVDs were presented in lovely professional packaging and we really couldn't be happier with it. Martin is a lovely friendly and approachable person with a laid back and non-intrusive style that fitted perfectly with the day. I can't recommend him highly enough.

We stumbled across Martin when looking for a magician to perform at our fairytale wedding at the crab and lobster, asenby. We were a little unsure about booking entertainment through internet reviews only, however we really need not have been. Martin was exceptional from the first point of contact until the end. He entertained out guests thoroughly after the ceremony, encouraging them to chat and mingle through sharing his amazing magic. He then wowed us with tricks at the top table in between courses - we are all still trying to figure them out - and have some little souvineers in the form of signed playing cards used, unique photos and amazing memories to take away. Initially I was quite set that we only wanted magic until the meal, however when the guests were still enthralled and wanting more he was more than happy to stay and all within the price - we didn't even need to ask! It is clear how much he loves what he does. Definitely would book again. We cannot thank or recommend Martin enough. Stephen and Amy

Absolutely excellent service from Martin. Everyone was thoroughly entertained and we had just the most enjoyable evening. First class magic performed throughout at the tables, and cabaret show at the end with audience participation. Martin pitched the show and tone of the whole evening just right, and the magic was simply amazing!! No hesitation in recommending him for any occasion, you will not be disappointed.
