A Mixed Bag
A useful and generally reliable security software that I still prefer over other products on the market. My main gripes with Kaspersky Total Security include: a) Scan speed is relatively slow compared to other products. It might have to do with the comprehensive number, method and types of checks? b) Unsolicited background scan also slows down my operating system (Windows 10) to the point where I have to stop it or not get anything done till it is done. c) Likewise, SafeMoney used to be quite efficient with no appreciable degradation in performance but my current version is slower than before. Certainly not recommended for use when trading the stock market. d) Kaspersky's extension impacts the use of video streaming from many sites to the point I have to disable it. e) Installing updates of other apps with Kaspersky seems to fail frequently in my case. Might be unique to my situation but manual update seems to work better. f) More simplicity in communications would help. The technical terms in some areas are befuddling to the non-techie.
