First Book has been a godsend. I was able to find popular books and update my library to make it more appealing and accessible to my struggling readers and English Language Learners, as well as my proficient ones. My students have been much more motivated to read and speak since I have added this and other books to my classroom library. Both my 1st and 3rd graders enjoyed this particular book... so much so that they're begging me to allow them to bring their pets to school! After purchasing The Rules, we were excited to see the next book in the series come up in the First Book options. Getting a high quality hardback book for a fraction of the retail cost ensures we are using our book budget wisely and are able to purchase a wider variety of books to complete our YA section.
