Moving from a soft water county into one in which the water company definitely did not supply soft water, I experienced a resurgence of my scalp psoriasis and the accompanying effects when showering i. e. extremely poor lather of shampoo, together with an overall feeling that the water felt harsh and unpleasant on all areas of my skin. Additionally, the drinking water via our cold tap supply tasted/smelt of 'chemicals' and created the most extensive limescale in our kettles that I have ever seen - much less experienced. Having been a long-standing user of Wrekin's domestic 'worktop' water filter, I had no hesitation in contacting them to discuss my options in our new environment. Initially, I spoke with Paul - whose patience and knowledge as to which 'whole house' system would best suit the requirements of our 2-person household - was extremely comprehensive; at no time did I feel I was 'just another customer' being 'sold' a product and I felt confident in my decision to purchase one of their water softening systems. Unfortunately, our installation via a local plumber ran into difficulties from the outset and for a period, we were completely without a water supply. From the time of my first phone call to Wrekin onwards, Emma (Wrekin's Managing Director), together with several other members of staff, including Craig and Ben (who eventually re-installed our whole softener system to our great satisfaction) did not hesitate to get involved in handling the awful situation in which we found ourselves. Ultimately, we were offered a visit by Ben and Craig (a journey of 2+ hours to reach us!) to assess our needs on site and to rectify any outstanding issues. We cannot sufficiently express our gratitude for the way in which Wrekin listened to - and then resolved - what had become an extremely distressing situation. Fantastic advice from Paul over phone and email about restoring my 10 year old Crown twin tank to full working order. Paul knows exactly how these softeners work and helped me to diagnose the issue and order the correct spare parts, which were dispatched promptly. I don't often leave reviews, but this is thoroughly deserved.

Although my 11 year old Harvey's Twin Tank was consuming salt blocks, it was not doing it's job, and several tests proved it. After a little research I discovered the two resin cylinders can be replaced. Wrekin had them competitively priced, in stock and they were swiftly despatched (very well packaged by the way). Very simple to install and we now have SOFT water again, thank you :-)

Wrekin Water have to be one of the very best companies for offering support of their products that I have ever come across. As a domestic consumer I have made many requests for advice and on each and every occasion I have received first class verbal and emailed instructions and help. In particular I would thank Craig ( technical dept) who went above and beyond to help me.

Superb assistance from the ladies on the phone. I was in a real pickle and they managed to contact the producers of the part, UV Light bulb, and had it customised so as to fit the old bit of kit I had. (And not charging me an arm and a leg for it) Top marks! Would seriously recommend them - and will be leaving their contact details for the next owner of our house.

Really helpful service from the moment the phone is answered by the very pleasant and helpful ladies who then directed me to Paul in the Technical Department. Paul then very carefully guided me through the process of how to remove the old Resin and install the new, which I was having difficulty with. I purchase the new Resin from them and it was shipped the same day. I cannot recommend them highly enough - Thank you.
