It is sort of Sheer, thinly weaved fabric with ok stitching. I like the color and length. You will either need to double it or wear an undercap. But if you double it the width is not enough to cover the back neck properly.

I love the drape and flow of this scarf. It's perfect to use as a head covering for when I'm traveling and go into a place of worship that requires women to cover their heads, and it also doubles as a beautiful and lightweight scarf. I can wrap it around my neck twice, then tie. It's breathable rayon, so even good for warmer climates. It's thin enough to fold/roll and pack easily into the bag you would put under your seat in front of you on the plane, in case you get cold, you can wrap it around your neck and head.
