We placed a furniture order with Urban Cali in September, carefully planning our schedule to ensure our home would be fully furnished before the Christmas period. The furniture was delivered at the end of October. Immediately upon delivery, we notified the company of significant internal damage to the furniture. The issue was evident, and supporting photos and videos were provided at that time. Despite reporting the damage promptly and making multiple follow-up inquiries, more than two months have passed without any satisfactory resolution. No repair, replacement, or clear remediation plan has been offered. Communication has been inconsistent and ineffective. As a result, we were left with damaged furniture throughout the Christmas period, which defeated the purpose of ordering well in advance and caused considerable disappointment and inconvenience. The only response provided was an offer of a small compensation amount of approximately 8% of the total purchase price, which is unreasonable and inadequate for a new piece of furniture delivered in damaged and unacceptable condition. Given the high cost of the furniture, this lack of timely response, accountability, and appropriate after-sales support is unacceptable and does not meet reasonable customer service standards. Customers should not be required to repeatedly follow up for an issue that was reported immediately after delivery. Based on this experience, we are highly dissatisfied and would urge potential customers to carefully consider this experience before purchasing from Urban Cali.
