I was gifted a very nice Barbour wool flat cap from a good friend. He bought the cap in the USA and brought it over to me in New Zealand. I've only worn the cap a few times and it has been well looked after but notice the wool exterior started to deteriorate. I've never seen any of my clothes do this before so I contacted Barbour and they said there is nothing they can do as the product is now discontinued. . . I can see why now. Anyway. . . . hopefully the quality of their products have since improved.
