After trying many products over the years, this beard balm keeps my beard from drying out and doesn't leave an oily residue. It's one of the best products I have ever used on my beard. I’ve been bearded for 15 years now and have tried varies beard oil from a lot of different companies. Some with ok products but with lousy customer service and some not so great products that I still don’t use. And been using the same brand now for over 5 years and I thought it was a good oil until now. Was in Galena, IL for the weekend at a country fair and a bearded lumber jack selling BBQ sauce told me to look up Schmuck’d Up for some good beard oil. So, a few weeks passed and was getting ready to order some oil from the other place but ended up ordering from Schmuck’d Up to see what they had to offer. First order was Roaring 20s, which was in the same ballpark of sent I was using, and it was a great sent, the other was Cedar & Leather again another great sent, but also in my order was two small vials of additional scents and one was Flannel which was a very nice touch and packaging was above and beyond the other places. So, for the first order I did my unscientific test on these new oils and the two biggest take aways was the sent lasted all day and even being an oil, it didn’t leave an oil slick on my face, the other brand for the first few hours after application I would have to clean my cell phone screen from the oil left behind. And yes, I was using the proper amount. Then it was Schmuck’d Up’s turn, I didn’t get the same oil slick, and I even used twice and sometimes a good puddle and even two applications and never felt oily afterwards. So pretty much sold on Schmuck’d Up of course Flannel, next order two bottles of Flannel beard oil and with that I ordered the Flannel Balm and the Flannel wash and conditioner. Same goes with the Balm, goes on great and has a great sent and good hold without feeling waxy or heavy and the wash and conditioner are very good also. Just when I thought I couldn't have a better scent than sandalwood or cherry, I tried the Pipe Tobacco Beard Balm and was beyond pleased. As with all the beard balms before, the product is the best I've used for keeping my beard soft and the scent is appealing. I'm in my third year using Schmuck'd up products and I've not only been happy with the product but those I've gifted it too have been happy as well. A great local company and I've met the owner a few times and he's a great dude as well! I will continue to support Schmuck'd up!
