Straight away I notice that the packaging is straight up Middle Eastern opulence... with the metallic stand/ holder and the overtly designed box. The bottle is pretty and not over-the-top like some bottles are. The cap is metal and quite heavy and the sprayer is pressurized. Now, the fragrance is quite lovely - very sweet, sugary, fruity and vanillic. It's got great sillage and longevity. I get 100% Burberry Her vibes...I don't know if that was intended or not, but it's what smacks me in the face. I love BBH but it's a DNA I'm kind of over, I feel like it's replicated everywhere. The perfume itself smells quality and if you love BBH you will most likely love this. However I don't love the price. So many other brands out there doing the same thing for less.

A scent that evokes the allure of the tropical side of Dubai. The spritz, initially, sweet stone fruit with a soft, smooth layer of coconut, reminiscent of, for those who have strolled the beaches of the UAE, the white sands and jade waters with white linen blowing in the breeze. This initial scent leads into a strong backbone of warm vanilla that has a forward mask of tuberose and gardenia. This is the beauty of the complexity. An exception from Prince Parfum, which usually strikes more balance of the sweet with the stronger earth notes and musks, Gourmand Vanilla I find leans to the sweet and sensual with a light floral note that provides a hint of earth to balance the tropical notes, notes that on their own would scream Tahitian summer. This balance lends to a coconut scent that is merely complementary, not being too intense, allowing the vanilla backbone to pull through and be the dominant scent that flows across all the layers. The finish is warm, mellow vanilla with gardenia on the nose. A long-lasting fragrance, with complexity and richness you would expect from an EDP. No need to scream here, this blend gently whispers luxury and romance.
