I work overseas at a diplomatic outpost. It is quite challenging finding local shoe manufacturers that offer suitable shoes that match the embassy dress code. Having ordered from Paul Evans a few times before, I figured I would have some nice black shoes shipped to the embassy. I ordered the shoes, and then began the delivery waiting game. The shoes made it as far as Miami, before the shipping company rejected them. No reason for the rejection was mentioned in the tracking information. Simply that my new shoes would not be able to jump a few counties and oceans in order to arrive at my doorstep. I contacted Paul Evans via their website. Within 24-hours one of the company's owners had personally contacted me in order to express how important it was to him personally to make sure I received my shoes. I was impressed.m, needless to say. In no time at all the shipping snafu was corrected, and my shoes were on there way. I have yet to receive the shoes as all this just happened, but the customer service alone will keep bringing me back to PE.

I'm very pleased with this model. It's clearly very high quality, and the fit is perfect as well. I ordered a size 8.5 and I usually wear a 9.5 dress shoe or 10 athletic shoe, so definitely adhere to their sizing recommendations. The ordering and delivery process were simple enough. I live in China, where international deliveries are always a hassle to get through customs, but this order was delivered on time with no difficulties. Nice work Paul Evans!

I first saw the shoes online, but decided to go to the store to check them out. One of the owners was at the store. He was attending to another customer at the time, he acknowledged me but continued servicing the customer. I noticed the easy demeanor, and how he was more concerned abt the customer's needs rather than the sale of the shoe. When he was done with that customer he attended to me. Again, the attention was to my needs rather than the sale. He told me abt the brand, answered all questions informatively. He recommended I try the shoes because the appropriate size may not be my usual size. True to that, my usual shoe size is 11 -11.5, my Paul Evans size was a 10! I was waiting for my girlfriend to join me and she was running late. He let me stay well past the posted closing time, with no pressure at all to leave, instead educating me more abt the shoes and the brand. I purchased The Brando Semi-Brogue Oxford - Aged Cognac. The shoes were delivered within 5 days of the purchase, with delivery updates throughout the process. Great packaging of the shoes, and the shoes are amazing!! They fit perfectly!! You know the moment you put them on that it is a quality shoe. Every time I put them on I at least get a compliment or two. Best shoe purchase I ever made. Thank you Paul Evans!
