I have recently purchased an Old Blue Bike Adventuri 350w 27. 5" bike.  I am pleased to say I am really liking it. The more I ride it the more I enjoy it. It is a better balanced bike than the rear motor & battery one I had been riding.  Even though it is the same weight, Old Blue feels lighter & handles better. I made the trip up from Hamilton. I didn't get to ride the new bike far but what I did felt good & dealing with Simon made the trip worthwhile. It was a pleasure to do the deal. A top bloke. Front wheel removed & the bike fitted nicely into the back of my medium size SUV for the trip home.

I have now done 3 50km rides on the Adventuri Max which has a 500 w motor and I cannot fault it. This bike is so easy and pleasant to ride and no hills have been a problem. My brother purchased two and we decided jump onto the "bike" and see what all the fuss was about. Best decision ever. Easy to use even around Auckland. Can't wait to get them down to the Coromandel for some hilly rides. Great service too from Simon.

This bike exceeded my expectations. It performs very well on usual roads and very well on hills. I live on the top of a hill with a very steep climb. Every time I am riding a push-bike I have to get off the bike and walk it the rest of the 1/3 of the hill to my home. To my delight, riding this new bike now I am getting home using only electric-assist 2 and maintaining good speed. On Sunday I tested the bike on a long ride around the island. Thanks to the electric-assist I easily rode up my "hills of shame" (ones I always have to walk my push-bike up) East exit of Onetangi and one from Awaawaroa to Onetangi. It performed great on the dirt road as well. The trip to the Stony Batter and back home (~19 km one way with steep hills) used less than half of the battery. However, I should confess that on the relatively flat parts of the road or going downhill I switched electric-assist to 0. I would like to thank the Old Blue team who delivered my bike to the island and taught how to use it.
