My 18month old valued sentanil suit started to leak at crotch. Sent in for repair to Burnaby Asked for feet and wrists replacement at same time as preventative measures. It returned with larger wrists than previously before that leaked to elbows. The right foot soaked in seconds. I sent back again to address the issues. Wrists are now good, right foot good, but left foot is wet. So to confirm…. Until this was sent for REPAIR the feet and wrists did NOT leak….after repair and replacement with brand new stock they do. Poor quality workmanship

I was disappointed to learn that although Ocean rodeo dry suits and Thier manufacturing rights were sold to Mustang. They are not being produced by Mustang... None of the Mustang productS provide the versatility of an ocean rodeo suit. After reviewing the available products by Mustang, we chose to purchase kayak style suits from NRS as they have more usable functions for ocean sailing, than Mustang products.

Great difficulty finding these at many outlets which sell the Mustang MIT100 (manual inflation) survival life vest. There is also a need to ensure that any marketing material for this item be accompanied by marketing info about the relevant re-arm kit. Mustang’s Survival 2022 catalog is filled with great products. I’m not the most tech savvy guy, but I find their site to be easy to navigate. I first discovered Mustang Survival gear while working in Alaska. I’ve been using their products in my fishing boat for many years. Mustang replaced a hood I ordered to replace one that did not fit an older brand jacket I bought. They replaced the new hood FREE OF CHARGE. I highly recommend buying from Mustang online in order to get the correct gear a person needs.

We have owned a Mustang HIT vest since 2011. In that time has been used twice, both on purpose as a sort of fun functional test. Both times it worked flawlessly. After the most recent inflation, I could not get the unit to show green in the indicator window. I called customer service and they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, they conveyed that our vest had reached the end of its supported service life. That was disappointing news but I do understand that safety sensitive items do have a specific lifespan. I ended up purchasing another Mustang HIT vest at our local marine supplier and fully expect the same reliability and lifespan out of this one as well.
