Works well...after some fabrication work
SPEC advertises this clutch kit as "Complete bolt-in installation." on their website. This was not true in my case. While the materials provided were good, there were issues with the engineering of this clutch kit; I had 2 problems with fitment. 1) The screws on top of the clutch casing made contact with the bell-housing. This resulting in having to re-pull the transmission and grind down the inside of the bell housing to make room for proper fitment. That was an extra $450 out of my pocket, so potential buyers be advised. 2) The slave cylinder fluid line connector was not properly threaded. We had to cut off the line flare, grind off the end of the connector and reflare the hydraulic line so it would properly thread. Overall driving impressions are positive. The clutch is slightly firmer than stock and engagement feels precise and solid. I did find the engagement point is considerably lower to the floor so it took some getting used to.
