1st time experience was great
A lot of people showed up to get their bees on 4/26. Even though the lines were long, the workers kept everything flowing and were in such good spirits that my first time getting bees was a great experience. Thank you to the team. Everything seemed to flow smoothly. The workers were friendly and efficient. I appreciate that as I was nervous newbee.

Going strong for 15 years
I've been using them for 15 years and they have one thing that is an absolute advantage over competition. Bees do not chew the foam as readily as on the other brands. I've only see them gnaw around the entrance and I've been able to fill that in with pliable epoxy stick, that is similar to playdough in consitency until it cures. I also painted mine to protect from UV and colored vertical doors different green and blue colors for queen orientation.

Seems solid, roomy, well designed. holds 6 eight-week old pullets comfortably. iDagram instructions were challenging, written would be helpful. Water collection system is a nice idea, but could use a larger receptacle. seemed to be missing a couple of screws, but was able to substitute my own. Took twice as long to assemble as suggested. Overall, the birds like it, and I'm satisfied. Price was better at Mann Lake than other sites.

The worst Nuc I ever ordered. Installed them a day after I picked them up and full of small hive Beatles. The frames looked normal. Except full of Queen cells. Did an inspection one week later and nothing but drone cells. Called to complain and was told they could not help and to give them time. Four weeks later I have a dead hive!

Doing AMAZING AND GROWING
My nuc came happy and healthy. I added to my hive a long horizontal i got here and revamped a bit. They have since multiplied and are 3 times as many as before!! They are calm and easy to handle. Im so thankful i went with Mann Lake!!!
