The new batteries took quite a while to get here and they’re probably another pound heavier than the old ones.

Great light, allows you to see a wide area, much clearer then a regular headlamp.

Bought the product as a gift for my SIL. The light works great and allows the runner to focus on the trail without having to scrutinize every step on a dark trail run. The replacement battery is disappointing due to size and weight. It lacks the sleek profile and lightweight portability of the recalled power source. It’s clear the replacement is a universal and not specific for a running light, thus lacks some of the features that make it an ideal complement to the system.

Was hoping the new batteries would work for me; but they don't fit in my carrier and they are quite heavy. I doubt that I will use them. would love to get my hands on a couple of the old bat pak1's

I love the light, but I hate that you have to rig it up. I ended up purchasing a belt from another company and making mine work as a belt light. I’d love to see Kogalla sell a belt to use.

I recently wore my Ra in a race that started in the dark. First of all it lit up the trail beautifully and really was like running in the daytime. What I didn't expect was all the people that would stay close in front of me or behind me to share the light because their headlamps were inadequate. Even before the race started it was a conversation starter. If you want to make new trail friends, get yourself a Ra. People flock to you like bugs to light. Stay safe and make friends.

The design is innovative and looks pretty cool. The quality is apparent in both looks and feel. Not a cheap plastic product. And the power bank is also well made. I like the light being water proof and wish the power bank was too.

I typically run in the mornings when it's still dark. My head lamp and reflector work okay. But I run along the road and wanted to make sure cars see me. I bought this as a safety device but the light is incredible. It makes running in the dark so much nicer. Not only can cars see me better but I can see better. I feel much safer.
