We LOVE Ivy Kits! The hands on activities, books and educational information is engaging and done in an intentional way. My kinder and second grader do it together. We have now ordered 6 or more crates never been disappointed. My Kinder boy is hesitant to do “school work” by end of the Salamander box he could count to 100 and skip by 2,5 and 10s. These kits have made learning fun!

Exceeded my Expectations!
I use these boxes as literature based units for my kindergartener. We absolutely loved the activities in this box. My daughter now understands that equal means balanced or the same on both sides. We loved the science and math aspect of this crate. I appreciated that the balancing bird came with an information sheet about the point of balance and including balancing on your bottom, balancing a pencil, and balancing the bird on the pencil eraser and your nose. Then we made our on balance as a science experiment and completed the worksheet where my daughter made and tested her prediction. My daughter was able to use the balance to complete the math problems and she considers the math balance a toy. She is using new vocab: lumbered, add, equal, greater than, less than. We read or retold the story each time that we completed activities. This particular box exceeded my expectations!
