You need these two together for it to work—at least that's my experience. The mattifier alone keeps my scalp matted for only an hour (2 max), while the Anti-shine will prolong it for a few more hours. It won't last a day, so I hope you'll improve the formulation. While it mattifies the skin and makes it look like a real scalp, too much matting dulls the SMP.
