Any time Eikona puts out a new recording, you know it's going to be a good one and this is no exception. Beautiful. Now I just need to listen to it enought to be able to sing along. :)

Again I can repeat all of my previous comments on the liturgy. As a liturgical recording it is fresh and clear and opens one up to the inner beauty. Ad a Greek speaker I experience what concerned in Greek equally in English and as naturally converted. A joy to listen to for any one first doing so. Well recited and sung and technically produced and good price Ad a grerk orthodox knowing Greek American scene!! This and other similar gives me hope of a renewal of orthodox worship bringing it in English back to tradition but ever renewed! And closset to people away from performance theatre sadly often backed y organ and worse. I am at home in Russian choral worship and can go and enjoy hearing Bach etc played on superb Anglican cathedral organ but if the defenders of Tikey et all, who I respect for their work and it's often beauty but reject for all above reasons, can understand what they have and I fully understand where they came from, done to our worship, they will repent and return to tradition and to liturgical Orthodoxy. Let us have choirs. And let Tikey et all produce their beauty but acapella. But along side let us have eikona. This is future.

This music is a joy to hear conveying freshness and depth in bringing to English language the mystical simplicity and beauty of the Greek byzantine tradition. Timeless. Especially in a Greek American contest that I have witnessed on visits where the norm sadly had been westernized organ accompanied banality and kitsch at best, the recordings of eikona and other similar are a hope for future development in Greek orthodox and wider USA and in diaspora. As liturgical music they ate superb well recorded and presented and joy to listen to. Ευχαριστώ. Νίκος

This is a beautiful recording. Long ago my priest encouraged me to get it to learn the service for chanting, but I continue to listen to it as it is so enjoyable. We recently received requests and purchased it for our bookstore as well.

This is a great help to my sometimes busy days. It's nice to be able to listen to the Morning, Small Compline, or Communion prayers when things get a little hectic, especially as the prayers are read clearly and at a calm pace. We even ordered some to sell in our parish bookstore. Thank you for making this much needed recording!

Our church bought this album to prepare for the Dormition of the Theotokos, so that we could practice the melodies. Whether for training purposes, or simply to listen, this album is beyond compare. The Byzantine melodies and the harmony of the voices are spot-on.

Another wonderful CD of Byzantine chant in English by beautiful, angelic voices. Bravo !!
