This gourd seriously has it all. Some of the details may seem minor but they make me absolutely giddy. The way that the inside of it is slightly tapered so your mountain of maté makes a wedge when draw out your dummy water is pure magic. The amount of maté that fits in there is perfect. Not so much that I feel like it’s waisted on a solo circle but plenty big enough to pass around a healthy circle. I like that it is tall/sturdy enough to fit my larger bombillas in without tipping when empty. I have always admired Circle of Drink and their products but have been too cheap to pull the trigger on a gourd. I finally decided to treat myself and I am absolutely thrilled.

Thin is right. This thing is easy and lovely to add to the collection. Only thing I would add is a gold tip for temp control but that would kill the look.

This mate completely blew me away - from the first sip. Complex, sweet, and rich, it's a very sophisticated and delicious yerba worth every penny.
