Hello, I’ve just received my kit and it says to make sure I put the culture in the freezer. I was planning on giving this as a Christmas gift. Do I have to put the culture in the freezer now?

Never had a problem that required me to test that side of things but the customer service has been great. Quick and clear communication so no uncertainty with delivery or what is coming. Can't recommend these folks enough.

The kit came sooner than expected - this is a gift for someone in Australia as they do not get cheese curds or poutine there - I am sure they will love the experience of making the kit and love the fact that they will be able to make poutine

I followed the instructions totally , but my end product was not smooth, it never got stretchy, i do have 5 small balls of something that is more like a big curd , and one of the balls never came together and i used it as part of some other homemade ricotta I made (not with the kit) to make gnocchi, have not yet use what i have as my mozzerella but can feel it is not smooth at all, as I said more like squeaky curd texture, likely will taste ok but disappointed, and by the way no way can i get non homogenized milk, so if that is the problem , i likely wont be able to make mozzarella with the kit. And lots of money to make ricotta which i do all the time without this type of kit

Products were challenging to find on web site but once I found them, ordering was easy and shipping was prompt
