Received 5 virgin queens today
They arrived about 6pm shipped next day air. They were buzzing after carrying the package upstairs - now they're quieter. I gave each cage water drops and put a drop of honey on a cage hole. They'll have the candy, so I guess honey wasn't needed. There's steady activity in the three mite mauler cages. One of the Indiana leg chewer/ankle biters has dark stuff atop the cage, and in the ankle biters, there is movement, but less. I haven't made out queen from attendant through the plastic yet, in these cages. First thing tomorrow they travel to the apiary.
