Terrible Experience, Waste of Time, Ghosted

Custom Engagement Ring was ordered. 600$ Ring was (supposedly) completed 2 months after Maggie originally said it would be done. Paid for product in full and Product was never delivered. Then was completely ghosted. No response to phone calls, texts, emails, and social media messages. Was Refunded money with no notification, 2 months after original payment. Terrible experience dealing with Maggie. A Tremendous waste of time and beyond disappointing. (Maggie, if your reading this, feel free to reach out to try and make things right. I can always leave another review)

Jewelry not sent

I ordered two blueberry cuffs as a gift from my mom on my wedding day, I have ordered jewelry from Maggie before and I love her pieces. I received a notification of a shipping label being created but that USPS had not yet received the items to ship. It has been a month and a half and USPS has not received the package to ship. I have sent several emails and instagram messages asking why the bracelets have not been sent and have not received any response. Really disappointing that I could not give my mom her special gift. Still waiting for any response.

Three months and no response

Poor customer service

My partner and I had been dreaming of buying our wedding rings from Maggie for over a year, when we reached out to place our order. My partner emailed her and got a quick response - she thanked him for our interest in her work (which truely we love, her art is well worth the price) She promptly sent over an invoice after they had talked about details, and said she’d send pictures of stones so my partner could chose which he liked best. My partner paid the invoice within 10 days , and emailed Maggie to make sure she’d seen the order. No response… over the next MONTH we emailed twice, called twice and Instagram messaged twice with no response, even though she had our money and was active on Instagram. Weeks later, we got an email from the mailing service with a shipping number, saying our order was in the way, even though she never sent us photos to choose from. Still no response. We received our order, and it’s stunning of course, but I’m baffled by the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. My partner had to get me involved in the process, ruining the initial plan of keeping it secret and surprising me with a proposal. Something we’ve dreamt of and saved up for for years has become a very stressful and frustrating ordeal. We spent like 5 weeks thinking we had been scammed. Thanfully we did receive our order, but we didn’t get to choose the stone in my wedding ring. Very disappointing, from one small business owner to another.

Workshops leave something to be desired

Workshops have good content but the communication and organization of the business is lacking and ultimately resulted in products that I wasn’t completely happy with, despite assurances we would all “leave with rings you love”. My friend and I signed up for a stacking ring class scheduled for 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon. We drove down from Anchorage to Homer the night before to maximize our weekend and focus on the workshop. Day of we arrived and got started with our group. After about 20 min, we discovered the class was actually only supposed to last for 2 hours. Apparently, she hired a marketing assistant who ended up sending the wrong info in our email updates. No biggie though, small communication error. But then, about an hour and a half into our class another class showed up. Apparently this was a group of repeat customers who had also driven from Anchorage for a class scheduled for the next day- something had happened though and couldn’t make Sunday work so they had asked to change days and she was trying to accommodate. Again, no biggie, except now there were 12 people in this tiny studio and we felt very pressured to finish our work and just leave. The content of the workshop was good, and I felt like it was an adequate introduction to making rings but with the overlap and overcrowding, Maggie’s attention was split and we ended up creating rings that we aren’t totally happy with. The next morning as we were packing up to leave, my friend realized she left her jacket at the studio so we messaged Maggie to go retrieve it. While there, Maggie apologized for the chaos of the evening before. She said she had reached out to accommodate/compensate the others in our workshop with plans to make it up because they were all Homer locals. Since we came from so far away, she said she would just issue us a partial refund because we couldn’t come to other workshops or come in privately. She said our experience didn’t accurately reflect how she wanted to run her bu...
