Purchased the kit recently and then purchased the #5 blade which has clipped our maltese schitzu poodle cross beautifully. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Only used once and very happy. Found the clippers easy to hold and to use. Not too noisy either which is great for my little nervous dog who normally hated being groomed but the first time with the Salty Dog kit and dog was really cooperative and relaxed. Will need to purchase a different blade to the one provided in the kit but all in all I'm happy with my purchase.
