Pros: - The recorder is unobtrusive and very small (smaller than my palm) so you can take it anywhere - The instructions have you download the app via a QR code but it can also be downloaded from the app store - Easy to pair with phone via app - It comes with a free AI membership for 6 months for up to 600 minutes per month which is long enough to determine whether you want to buy a subscription afterward - Playback is very clear - The transcription isn��t perfect but very close. What I love about the transcriptions is that it gives the time each section is at so, if needed, you can fast forward in the recording to the exact spot in the transcription. - After 6 months, a subscription is required to continue using the transcription and summary features; however, all other features are still available. - You can record away from the app and recordings are saved on the device. - The app lets you see recordings saved on the device and those saved on your phone (or where you downloaded the app) and you can delete them from whichever device you want. - From the app, playback, transcribing, summarizing, and reading transcriptions and summaries is simple. Cons: - Every time I go to start a recording or open the app, I first have to reconnect the recorder. And to stop the recording, just hold the same button and the recording will stop. In the end, my take on this product is if you do a lot of recording, note taking, or meetings, I think this product is worthwhile for the paid subscription. For a seldom user like me, I will consider it based on a case-to-case basis. Nonetheless I think product works well and nas its useful features.
