I feel hot in an A/C room as well so I need the ceiling fan to be on too. This fan is the substitute for it. I connect it using the USB port and I don’t have to switch on the ceiling fan which makes far more noise than this one. Not only do you have that breeze on your face, you also can face it towards the laptop while it is charging so the heat is dissipated. worth the money for me.
