The bike i received doesn't work and the company won't answer any of my emails. The phone line rings busy. Other posts I've seen online say that people get charged and then never receive their merchandise. Currently disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Great delivering to USA, poor delivering to UK

I can’t review something I haven’t received. I ordered the bike on August 3rd and as of August 16th it has not shipped. You would be better served asking for a review after the customer received the product.

I love that you were trying to get electric bikes out into the world. This idea that it automatically is able to go up hills, nah. I need a lot more reassurance than it adjusts itself

Great service from your team, but unfortunately, the bike was much lower quality than i expected. I’m familiar with a lot of the ebikes in the market and unfortunately, the bike battery leaking charge and requiring a full charge every three days is not acceptable, especially when you have to take off the seat. So in my first two weeks of owning I would constantly constantly find the battery at 0%.

I recently purchased a Vela bike, and I wanted to take a moment to express my immense gratitude and satisfaction with both the product and the service I received. The bike has exceeded my expectations in every way and has completely transformed my daily commute in NYC.

Vela bikes is an urban cyclists dream! I love riding my bike to get around town but I don’t wanna look like I do. So I often opt out just to save the sweat. With Vela, I can enjoy a cyclists commute but still look fresh on the other side. Thanks Vela! Highly recommend!

Amazing design! It really was a blessing to have the pedal assist, especially in hot NYC. It was also amusing for other (often serious looking) bikers to try to pass, without them first realizing how fast the bike can easily go. Thus, their pass attempts were thwarted. Also, this may sound trivial, but I really liked the pedals. My only recommendations would be: - a louder, easier to engage bell - to move the bell so that it's not near the booster button. A couple times I accidentally slipped and pressed the booster when trying to ring the bell. This happened at inopportune times too - the booster sometimes didn't react

For not having rode a bike in a few years, it was incredibly reassuring to enjoy a ride on not only a sturdy machine, but an enjoyable one. Moving through the dense streets of New York City felt seamless, and with the boost built in, I was able to get to where I was going quickly, while still feeling relaxed. Not only a joy ride, first time since a child that a bike felt like a new experience.

The Vela bike has some great features for a competitive price, including pedal assist with boost, built in USB charger, and removable battery. I am a 5’5” female and rode the small bike in cherry red on the small seat setting and it was a shade small. I also tried the medium bike with the small seat setting, but it was a couple inches too big. However, Vela has told me they adjusted the seat inserts to create a size between the small and medium seat height inserts and that should be perfect. I ordered my small bike in powder blue and could not be more excited to ride it around town!

Riding a Vela is a joy! I love the colors, especially the red. I think the size options are great- I feel like the Vela I rode was custom made for me. Very easy company to get in touch with and answer questions quickly.

The bike is a game-changer. I truly didn't know what to expect from the experience, but it made commuting a total joy (which is a real feat in the height of summer humidity!). It's also stunning. I can't tell you how many people stopped me on the street to ask about it. LOVE VELA.

Except for a couple minor design kinks that can easily be worked out, the bike feels great to ride and works very well. Comfortable seat, classy looking bike and easy to ride.
