Bought these rim brake wheel set for my trek Emonda after being advised by a friend they cater for the heavier rider after I kept busting spokes with weight power transfer and I have to say I love these wheels they roll superbly and handle great built to last with no compromise on style drew knows his stuff and is happy to speak on the phone and give advice thanks spin on these wheels one happy happy

I was hesitant about ordering from a small supplier as I've always been happy with various Mavic wheels, but the Revolution Fat Boys looked great and the price was very competitive so I took the plunge. I've had them for less than a week and all I can say is holy sh*t the wheels are incredible. Like, I've gained an extra 300 watts kind of incredible. Never have I lapped so many people in Regent's Park with so little effort. They also have a great carbon buzz sound and the deep black gloss finish with Cobolt Azure blue hubs is a serious midnight disco vibe. Time will tell how well they last, but I am very impressed so far.

I purchased the DM8 Elite Series RS-FortyFive Fat Boys - 28mm wide 45mm deep wheels. I received them just in time for my fixed-gear ride of 100 miles. These wheels offer an amazing balance of speed, grip and comfort. Riding on 75psi, this was the first time that my rear and back survived the long ride over the many bumps of the greater NYC area. These wheels offer an amazing level of comfort for the performance you get. Just as importantly, customer service is amazing. Drew responded quickly and thoroughly to all my questions. I've sent Drew several questions post sale and he's been just as attentive. 5 stars for the product and service!

I recently managed to snap a spoke on my Koppenburg Max25s, having asked Drew if they did spares, I received back an e-mail asking various questions, front/rear wheel, drive/non drive side colour etc, I replied and enclosed a photo fro the spoke lacing and to my surprise, the very next day received spare spokes and nipples in the post, along with a quite detailed e-mail to support the spoke replacement. I am very very impressed with Drew and Ride Full Gas. Absolutely first class service!!

After having nearly every wheel available to use through different sponsors it is truly fantastic to find a UK based wheel builder that can create light fast but strong wheels for the correct style and weight of rider. These wheels ping along with effortless ease and the fat rims are so current with the technology to go fast. I love them!

I am extremely satisfied with my Koppenberg Fat Boys. I took them to the Flanders Sportive on 25mm Schwalbe Pro Ones and they were fantastic!! Very comfortable and handled the cobbles in a superb manner, I can't say enough good things about these wheels! Customer service has been fantastic in helping me select the best wheels, and even tyres for my bike and my type of riding. I have gone ahead and taken the next step and just ordered a new set of DM8 Super Fat Boys for my other bike, can't wait to ride them here in Italy! I have converted to Spin wheels! I've been racing on Spins for a few years now thanks to Drew! I am one of the lucky few to not only have road Spins but track Spins as well, all hand built for me! What can I say about these wheels that hasn't already been said by so many. Both my sets are superb and you couldn't wish for better wheels to race on. I am into my 4th year as a customer with Drew and the team from Spin, originally a Spitfire Mk2 frame set build and subsequently 3 sets of wheels, I really rate all the products but it is the dedicated after sales services that really sets this company apart. Drew is a master wheel builder, I've been riding for over 20 years and he makes and builds lovely wheels, if any problem occurs even out of warranty he is there to help, simply excellent!

Well what can I say other than.. Wow they rode like a dream! I recently raced my first half ironman out in Fuerteventura which is a notoriously hilly and windy island! I was slightly worried in the lead up having not ridden deep sections in such windy conditions but the wheels performed amazingly. They cut through the wind, I was not blow around at all and they were super easy to handle. They are a nice light wheel so climbing on them was really fun and descending was fast! The braking surface on the rim also meant that I could descend without over thinking the tight corners which allowed me to hold my speed. The wheels make a great noise too which actually helped keep my focus during the race. Easily the best and fastest wheels that I have ridden and alongside all this they look super cool.

Having ridden my cannondale cross bike for 3 years I was due to ride Roscoff to Santander for the air ambulance! I wanted to have a bike with proper brakes, that would be comfortable over that distance and something that was a bit special! I had always fancied titanium from when I was into mountain bikes during the early 90s and chose the spitfire over others because of the reviews which all stated how beautiful it wasn't! the spitfire at that time was on offer as frame, fork, stem, seat post and bar offer! Once I started talking to Drew I realised I was making the right choice and he helped me through each and every step! My friend helped me build the bike up with campagnola athena carbon and campy wheels all bought through the cycle scheme. From the first ride it was amazing, titanium really is the best material to build bikes. It carried 14 stone over 1000 miles through the Pyrenees without a single mistake. It took me on my first 100 miler without any discomfort or pain.

After reading the Road CC review of the Spin Koppenbergs I decided to make them my choice of upgrade in 2015. Managed to score an ex-demo pair which were like new. They look great, and whilst light, feel very sturdy. Finally got to use them in anger on the track at Lee Valley and very much enjoyed riding them. With 25s on, I had the confidence to go that much harder and critical into the corners and they did not falter. My only concern now is how will I get another pair past the wife?

Fantastic experience with the entire process, starting with surprise cooking treat after a test ride, excellent communication through to prompt delivery. Bike is beautifully crafted, excellent quality that is more than a match for any carbon bike out there (my own Cervelo R5 included). Plus it looks AMAZING... Stiff when needed and exceptionally comfortable also. 38mm fat boys are fantastic wheels, original looking and incredibly well built. Stop thinking about it and buy from Drew, you simply cannot go wrong. His bikes and approach deserve all the recognition they get and more !

Incredible speed and outright performance from both my custom frame and the wheels. Combining the two and its on a entirely different level to anything I've ever ridden, so agile just like a race car. The quality and craftsmanship is unrivaled, just looking at it puts a massive smile on my face. Thanks Drew!

these wheels made my Fondriest TF2 fly - 23mm tyres on the 25mm rims ride so well. The aero profile is nice, but the ride is great and the wheels really tough, which is necessary on my roads!

I recently purchased my k2 carbone 38's from Spin and the experience had been great! The sale price was fantastic but this didn't affect service which was informative and frequent! Love my wheels and making my ridiculous buddies suffer.

I would have to say that it is simply the best titanium frame I've ridden. The frame is very stiff and responsive and light too. The welds are clean and neat and the frame fork is a good combination. Well it’s my third frame from Spin and it keeps getting better. In the end comfort on long ride is just awesome. A truly well blended frame.
