Saved my 6
bought, installed, and used the back-flush valve. I bought 2003 F250 Lariat with 6.0 and had 22–25-degree deltas 194/220 and researched about how to either replace oil cooler or find an easer fix. After performing back flush I now have 10-degree deltas 194/203-205 (highway miles at 65-70 mph no load). Thanks for a great product. I used standard water pressure from spigot and tied in a 5-gallon air tank. Turned on water then flushed with blast of air. Repeated for about 30 minutes. Removed thermostat and added VC-9, ran and drained (removed block plug on drivers side only and back flushed the heater core thru heater core hose). Repeated back flush, drained then used Restore for final chemical flush (drained and flushed with tap water with engine idle with radiator drain open). Reinstalled thermostat and filled with new “Final Charge” coolant.
