Great sets
These are great sets for tight quarters work. Nicely packaged, the spinners and extensions are thoughtf additions. Don’t let the size fool you , these are study quality sets. And made in USA!

Nice set
Great little set that doesn’t take up much space but has 99% of the pieces I need for a project. Fits into smaller areas I can’t normally reach with full sized tools.

Bought Another one Because it was So Good
After receiving the #1000 Mity Master for Christmas from my wife i purchased this one for my Dad. My Dad works in the machine repair business and he loves the little dinky ratchet for things such as removing spindles, blind installed fasteners, or fasteners and engineer thought would be easy to reach with little consideration to the poor soul who has to remove it. If you are on the fence about purchasing this then consider buying a smaller set (#1316 comes to mind) and seeing if a mini ratchet feels good for you. You will not be disappointed on the fastener fit or quality of the system. This is not so much a criticism so much as a point of personal preference but this set does not have a t27 or t40 torx set and, although uncommon, the bits need to be ordered separately. Also if you work with Japanese machines (as my father does being in machine repair) you may want the JIS bits. Also if you prefer the stubby handle to the long black handle then get the stubby handle set with the 2 removable double ended bits. The handles will hold any of the chapman bits.

Good Quality Set
I purchased some bits that were missing from a 5575 set my wife bought me. The "star" bits are infact better than torx standard bits. The bit fits a little snugger than torx branded bits. Unfortunately the T27 size bit is more like a standard bit then CMC's regular way of making bits. What i mean is the pretty black oxide coating they put on their bits isnt on that one particular size. It is more of a brownish coating. I took it into a lab and i cant see any appreciable difference between the black oxide coating performance and the brownish coating on the T27 size.

Perfect addition to 5575 in 5580 Case
These handles DO FIT the regular CMC bits. tried it on just about all of them. however the double ended bits DO NOT fit in other CMC handles and ratchets. I bought them simply for the handles but the bits are nice too. The reason the bits do not work in other handles and ratchets is there are no stop lobes on the double ended bits. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a stubby handle to add to their sets.

Great tools, great price, fantastic service
I carry out a lot of work on firearms. Getting quality gun repair kit in the UK is not easy. Chapman tools came to the rescue, top quality kit and posted fast, super tough bits (had to modify a bit and needed a diamond cutter) will be adding bits as required.

Good Ratchet for Many things
If God on High asked me for a standard issue ratchet for his cohort of Angels i would say the CM-13 Ratchet. this little bugger is fantastic for engineers like me that see all sorts of little do-dads and thing-a-majigs. Combined with a couple choice bits i put together some 80/20 structural framing and jigs and fixtures. I would recommend picking up a vinyl pack like the 2021 pocket pack with a few choice bits to augment what you want to do. To the heretics and detractors of the CM-13 ratchet who claim this is whimpy, only accepts 'proprietary bits' and not fine enough: more teeth means more stress per tooth on the gear system. this is not a negative so much as it is a design choice. If you want a fine tooth ratchet then by all means go for it. this ratchet is a self proclaimed MIDGET ratchet. midget meaning baby or small. if you are going to try and torque and lugnut to break the ratchet and then complain this ratchet is junk you're not a begreived consumer just an idiot. 200 in-lbs is your limit. to those who complain about the proprietary bit system are the same people who try to assemble IKEA furniture without reading the assembly diagrams. CMC is very upfront with their bit system. they chose to go with a lobe/ball detent retention system. the lobe stops the bit from pushing through when you apply downward force and the ball detent provides enough friction to retain the bit from falling out. To those who want to add this to a Leatherman kit it will work sort of. you can add this to the end of the LM bit extender if you have an extension with a long enough hex to allow the ratchet to be between the end of the bit and the LM bit extender. the CMC 4 inch extension will work or just about any impact adapter as well.

Great tools, great price, fantastic service
I like Chapman tools. I work on firearms and needed quality bits, chewed up screws reduce the value of a firearm and on older guns are hard to replace. I placed an order for a few hollow ground flat blade screwdriver bits, on arrival I could tell that they were well made. the finish was outstanding. Because of their design may well not fit other handles or drivers. I needed to get a job done so had to cut one of the bits to fit my torque wrench. I had to use a diamond cutting disk they are tough, real tough! As I did not want to modify any more bits I placed another order for the ratchet, a couple of handles and a set of hex bits, again the quality was outstanding. The case is a handy size, like the other tools looks like it will last, (unlike stuff made in China) it holds 104 bits more than enough, mine is loaded up with flat, Allen, and torx bits, enough for repairs on most guns and handy for a day at the range. From the USA to the UK in under 5 days is what I call fast service.

Quality kit
I ordered a selection of the flat bits as needed for repair and servicing of rifles. The quality is outstanding but you will need the Chapman handle or extension to use these bits which I did not. I soon found out how tough the bits are when I attempted to cut off the knurled bit to allow them to fit my torque wrench, I took a diamond cutting disk to complete the task! I decided to order the extension. to be posted USPS as UPS is expensive What impressed me with Chapman was customer service. The bits I ordered were with me in the UK in under 5 days. I intend to replace all my gunsmith screwdrivers with Chapman bits

A tool set that saves you!
I forget how I stumbled upon these, but so glad I did. I’m an auto enthusiast, and do all kinds of mechanical restoration work, as well as repairs around the home and even some cabinet making. When you get into a tight spot in a cabinet, piece of equipment or esp. a modern car, this kit can save the day. Whether it is having the correct bit for the fastener, or you are in very tight spot, this is where this kit shines. You get the fastener off without stripping because the bits are high quality. The handle is useful, but the ratchet is phenomenal. It’s small, and does the job. The brilliance to this tool set is how the bits lock into the ratchet. In the past I would put a regular drive bit in small ratchet with socket for a tight spot, but the bit constantly falls out, if I even had the right bit. Chapman fixed that issue with their ball detent locking mechanism on the bits. A master kit or similar, will give you the bits you need. 40 plus years of mechanical work, I only buy quality tools and Chapman is quality and solves the problem. I’m back to buy another as gift. AAA!

Excalibur in a Box
Want to fix the American Ideological divide? want to make IKEA blush with how easy their instructions are now to follow? Do you want to deliver your children by yourself with nothing but your wits and your tools? Do you want to slay the dragon and rescue the damsel and claim the kingdom of Camelot as your own. THEN GET THIS SET. best set MUSA i have owned. I am an engineer in the Defense industry who frequently runs into all sorts of various fastners and these are the perfect set for me. Are they expensive? Yep. will they last? Hell yes. Will they stand abuse? as long as you aren't an idiot. dont be stupid and try to torque s T6 screw to 50in-lbs. if you dont have a "feel" for how much torque youre applying spend some time with a torque wrench and figure out before you break the small bits

High quality tools
I’ve owned a Chapman gun screw set for 40 years and it has given excellent service. Added to my set and replaced some worn bits recently and expect to get 40 more years of good service!

Good quality Metal used for sure
I saw that they offered a set screw version of the long extension here, I ended up just drilling and tapping mine myself. I'm not sure why they don't offer the smaller one with a set screw but I drilled and tapped that one as well. The metal was really tough to drill through (I used a drill press). Haven't had a need to use the set screws, they are perfectly fine without them.

Another handy addition
These are super handy for tight spaces. Even though they didn't need it I ended up drilling and tapping the handles for a set screw just in case I ever need to use it in the future, but they are perfectly fine without it
